Del Sol Hood

Hey, i need a del sol hood. my sol's currently in the shop getting ready for paint but the hood currently on there ibanged up quite nice in this certain area of the hood. I've been told that its fixable but it'll be hard and i'd just rather do things right the firt time around. oh btw, i'm working on the paint and things myself at school. but anyways, if anyone's parting their sol out around seattle or anywhere remotely close to seattle, has an extra and willing to get rid of please do give me a call on my cell 206-251-9170. Also, if anyone knows of any places i can buy one for relatively cheap, that would be great as well. thanks!

well i have good news for you i have been trying to sell my carbonfiber hood for a while now i would like to get about $175 for it but i can go lower if needed. also got some Z3 fender if you are interested

i gave dean a call..and that guy's such an asshole hahahhaha. anyway, he's asking $150 for a used hood which is how much most used parts places sell them for. Brand spankin new they are anywhere from $150-$200 most places. and i was told by my body repair instructor over at South Seattle CC that he gave certifit a call and said that they had a hood for $80. But this was about 2 weeks ago and havn't gotten around to givng them a call myself. thats some funny stuff...

hmmmm... I wouldnt mind having a carbon fibre hood. How about if Plaboi gets the carbon hood from Robert for $150, then trades me for the hood off my 97 granada plus $50.

So......

Robert gets $150 for hood-->Daniel gets Carbon fibre hood-->playboi gets 97 hood +$50

Let me know if this works. the only downer is that i cant do anything until Thursday. thanks to the down payment ont the Sol, moving into a new place, and my payment to uncle sam, Im tapped til payday. but if you can wait, im in.

DAMN IT! forgot to check back with my instructor on pricing again. But if i get the same price quote i got calling them myself today, which was $120-$125 i believe, i'll most likely be down to go through that 3 person deal. BUT i'd have to take a look at your stock hood first 97soler. Are there any dents in it at all?

Ya, My hood is practically mint, a couple small common rock chips, but as far as dents are concearned it is in mint. Of course the same deal goes with the carbon fiber hood, I gotta check that out too, and he will have to part with it for the $150. I have a free weekend coming up so we could all meet up,and if need be i work 6am-3pm mon-fri, so we can do it sooner. just let me know.

Shit..i would LOVE to check out some of the sols in teamsolwa. I was suppose to go to the last month's meet but somethin came up. I'm available this weekend. 97sol, give me an e-mail at [email protected] with a time and place you want to meet up. And i'll shoot Robert an e-mail right after. The downside is i wont be able to bring my sol. all i have is my 89 hatch right now cuzz the sol is getting painted. So whatevers...if we can meet up and have a mini sol meet, that would be great, if not, it'll be fun seeing more sols than the typical stock sols around seattle.

well i just got my car back and i can cope with the $150. You are getting a good deal if you ask me. well i have this weekend off just have somethings to do saturday morning but will be free at around 2pm. well i live in tacoma. so we should figure out where to meet up. maybe meet at geogres house for a mini meet or something might want to ask him first though. what do you guys think?
